How it works
6 steps to a new floor
From inspection to handover – every step has its own method and standard.
- Step 01
Measuring and material selection
We come to site, measure the space and recommend a suitable parquet type and laying pattern.
- Step 02
Subfloor check
We measure moisture and flatness. The subfloor must be dry (≤ 2 % CM), sound and level.
- Step 03
Subfloor preparation
Priming, skim coat and, if needed, self-levelling compound. Skip this step and the parquet won't last.
- Step 04
Laying the parquet
Glued down with PU adhesive (solid parquet) or floating over 2 mm underlay (engineered).
- Step 05
Expansion gaps
We leave a 10–15 mm expansion gap around the perimeter, later hidden by skirting.
- Step 06
Skirting and finishing
Fitting skirting boards, transition profiles and stair nosings. Clean-up and handover.

How much does parquet renovation cost?
Parquet renovation (sanding + 3 coats of lacquer or oil) starts from 650 CZK/m². Sanding on its own, without a finish, starts from 400 CZK/m². The final price depends on the condition of the floor, the type of wood and the area.
How long does parquet renovation take?
We can complete a standard 50–80 m² flat in 3–5 working days. We always confirm the schedule after inspecting the floor.
What does dust-free sanding mean?
We use professional Lägler sanders with direct extraction into an industrial vacuum. Sanding dust doesn't spread through the flat, and you don't need to move furniture out of the other rooms.
Lacquer or oil – which is better?
Lacquer is more resistant to wear and easier to maintain; oil looks more natural, is easier to repair locally and ages beautifully. We'll recommend one after inspection, based on how the room is used.
How many times can parquet be renovated?
Solid parquet can be sanded 10 times or more. Engineered parquet 1–3 times, depending on the thickness of the top layer (2–6 mm).
